La ligne Admiral synthétise l’esprit des sports où le temps semble acquérir une autre dimension et se destine aux voyageurs et aux aventuriers d'aujourd'hui qui aiment à se jouer des longitudes. En témoignent les modèles 24h “second fuseau horaire“, équipés d’un mouvement automatique, d’une échelle de 24 heures sur la lunette ainsi que d’une aiguille des heures supplémentaires.
La ligne comprend également des chronographes mécaniques automatiques, avec guichet de date à six heures et tachymètre sur le réhaut.
Sous la glace saphir antireflets apparaît un cadran noir, argenté, gris météore ou chocolat, affichant des index en applique, traités avec du superluminova, à la fois sobres et lisibles, qui mettent en évidence un “12“ dont la force dynamique symbolise l’esprit du design sportif Longines.



Le boîtier, d’une élégante robustesse, dispose d’une couronne et d’un fond vissés, garantissant une étanchéité à 100 m.
Les différents modèles sont disponibles sur bracelet acier ou Alligator véritable, avec boucle déployante triple sécurité.

The Admiral series summaries the spirit of sports in which time seems to acquire another dimension. It is meant for the travelers and modern adventurers who enjoy crossing lines of longitude.
The 24h “second time zone” models bear witness to this. They are fitted with an automatic movement a 24-hour scale on the bezel and a hand for the supplementary hours.
The series also includes automatic mechanical chronographs with a date window at six o’clock and a tachymeter on the dial. Beneath the anti-reflective coated sapphire glass appears a black, silver, meteor grey or chocolate-coloured dial, with applied indices, treated with superluminova.



Both sober and easily legible, they highlight a “big 12” whose dynamic force symbolises the spirit of the sporting Longines design.
Of an elegant robustness, the case has a screw-in crown and screw down case back, ensuring it remains water-resistant to a depth of 100 m.
The different models are available with steel bracelet or genuine alligator strap, fitted with triple security folding clasp.

Purtroppo i calibri son sempre gli stessi che troviamo in centinai di altri orologi... ma per lo meno come estetica sono bellissimi e riescono ad imporre delle linee senza copiare altrove e senza cadere nel cattivo gusto esasperando le forme, le dimensioni ed i colori.

Difficile trovare un modello brutto... o "solo" insignificante nelle ultime collezioni Longines!
Sta' tornando grande! Non potra' mai tornare quella di un tempo, ma ha ricominciato ad esser una maison degna di nota...
Orologi molto belli, rifiniti tutto sommato bene... e poi hanno l'innegabile fascino della scritta "Longines" sul quadrante...
