Finally...............

Hi All;

I have known of this watch for about 5 years, the collector who owned it was never interested in selling it. But yesterday he came round to talk about another watch he was interested in selling and I asked if he might be interested in selling the Le Coultre.

He was.

In the late 1940s JLC made 2,000 of these in gold filled cases for sale in the US. They also made about a dozen of them in solid 14k gold, this is one of them & I love it; the dial is a model of clarity & the case is beautifully restrained.
