In the first half of 2007, the fifteen main markets showed the following trend (total value in million francs and % variation by comparison with the first half of 2006):

   3.   Japan     592.1   +2.6%
   4.   Italy     476.3   +14.0%
   5.   France     429.1   +15.9%
   6.   Germany     383.7   +6.2%
   7.   United Kingdom   311.0   +14.1%
   8.   Singapore   263.6   +4.8%
   9.   China     242.2   +28.8%
   10.   United Arab Emirates235.4+19.9%
   11.   Spain     228.8   +7.2%
   12.   Russia     147.9   +118.8%
   13.   Taiwan     127.5   -0.2%
   14.   Thailand    112.6   +14.5%
   15.   Saudi Arabia   86.0   +8.0%

All of the main markets recorded gains in June. While the United States and Japan remained slightly off the pace, Hong Kong made strong progress. Europe overall increased its rate of growth.
The first half-year also proved positive for all of the main outlets for Swiss watch exports. The United States remained a highly attractive market for Swiss watch manufacturers. Hong Kong continued to improve, while Japan registered one of the lowest rates of growth, confirming its slowdown. Italy and France turned in average performances, however Germany lagged behind. Among other markets mention should be made of the strong growth registered by China and Russia, whose performance outstripped all others in the first half-year.

Les principaux marchés ont tous enregistré une hausse en juin. Les Etats-Unis et le Japon sont restés quelque peu en retrait, alors qu'entre deux, Hong Kong a fortement progressé. Dans son ensemble, l'Europe a encore augmenté son rythme.
Le premier semestre s'est également montré positif pour tous les principaux débouchés des exportations horlogères suisses. Les Etats-Unis sont restés un marché très intéressant pour les horlogers helvétiques. Hong Kong a poursuivi son accélération, tandis que le Japon a affiché une des croissances les plus faibles, confirmant son ralentissement. L'Italie et la France se sont situées dans la moyenne, mais l'Allemagne n'a pas suivi. Parmi les autres débouchés, il faut relever la forte croissance de la Chine et de la Russie, qui signe la meilleure performance du premier semestre.
